Deficit War = Social Security Checks in Limbo
Turmoil strikes.
According to President Obama Social Security checks may not reach pertaining retirees on August 3rd if Democrats and Republicans can’t kiss and make-up on deficit stance.
Obama states, “I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven’t resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it.”
Many who rely on Social Security as a means of survival are worried. Anger boils their veins. Panic strikes their hearts. What can a retiree do?
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell remarked on the senate floor,
“After years of discussions and months of negotiations, I have little question that as long as this president is in the Oval Office, a real solution is probably unattainable.”
